The environment is excellent and clean, there are not many tourists, very quiet!

Of course Davy&#39;s is known for their wine but the food was equally good.  We thought the food was superb.  The chili brocoli, the green beans with shallots, the linguine - were all full of flavour and tender,d the vegetables were left green.  The steak was truly the way I like it - (a rare thing in London), and the chips some of the best I&#39;ve had.  Really crispy with good oil, soft, hot and satisfying.  The welcome from staff was great - the waiter was a little cool and a little slow, however totally professional.  Neither of us like music while we eat and talk.  Thankfully the music was not overpowering and stayed like a small irritation in the background.  This place is a find, mainly because of the great location, the understated, ancient interior and the fantastic cooking.

Went to try the menu and enjoyed it very much. In terms of steaks I knew what to expect but I was curios about some of the new starters and desserts and I&#39;m glad I went. Service is top notch in this gaucho and this is not my first time here. They have kept some staff that work here for years and also they have some new and it works so well, as every time I came here I was looked after and felt special. Thank you, guys! The pan de bon is amazing, easily the best bread I have ever tasted. The cuadril (rump steak) was a good sized portion and cooked to perfection. A word of warning - the steaks don&#39;t come with any accompaniments, I had the mushrooms and creamy mash, which were both good but cost an additional &pound;12.50, which seems pricey considering an 8oz (225g) steak was &pound;20.

What a hidden gem! It might be small but WOW.First time eating Vietnamese food but the staff were so great helping us with our choices. The food arrived quuckly and when it did it was amazing. So fresh and tasty, definitely having Vietnamese again. Great value for money
